Last Friday (11th) we had a delightful visit from a couple of players from Cheltenham Town Ladies FC! Captain Jen Brown-Wealls, midfielder Louise Fensome and their Manager Graham Fletcher. They had the prestigious tour of Typecraft and Finnick Creative HQ where they were able to see the behind the scenes action of what goes into the making of their match day programmes.
We let them in on a few of our secrets here at Finnick Creative and we were honoured to give the girls (and Graham) a sneak peak into our creative headquarters. It was wonderful to meet the players that we have been so thoroughly supporting for the last few weeks!
This season the work of Finnick Creative and Typecraft combined means that we can design and print the match day programmes for all home games for Cheltenham Town Ladies FC.
Jen Brown-Wealls said: “The programmes have been a great success, providing our fans with some great reading, and helping to attract new sponsors. We are extremely grateful to Finnick Creative and Typecraft and it was real pleasure to see how they are published and meet their lovely people.”
Last weeks programme was particularly poignant as all proceeds were donated to the Royal British Legion in support of Armistice Day. A wonderful £220 was raised for this great cause!
Not only this but the ladies managed to beat their opponents Maidenhead to a wonderful 3-2 victory with goals from Jen Brown-Wealls, Ella Hitchcox and Holly Rogers!
Well done ladies! We’ll keep up the good work as long as you do!!
